
Meet Dr. Claudia Samland
Partner VeterinarianHailing from Omaha, Nebraska, Dr. Claudia Samland started working in veterinary practices as a veterinary assistant in emergency and mixed animal practices in 1986. After starting a family with her husband, Pat, she returned to the University of Nebraska where she earned her bachelor’s degree.
After graduating from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000, Dr. Samland spent the majority of her career practicing in Indianapolis as a canine and feline veterinarian at East Side Animal Hospital before joining 30th Street Animal Hospital. She worked in Nebraska as a mixed animal veterinarian before returning to Indiana.
Dr. Samland and Pat were married in 1985. Their son and daughter were born in Nebraska but grew up in Indiana. The family pets include a lab mix named Albert, and a cat named Humphrey. In her free time, Dr. Samland enjoys training for triathlons as a member of TriNasti, a Noblesville triathlon team. She has also served as a member of a local community choir.
